You are given multiple items to help you survive. Use them wisely. Search the map for food to keep your hunger bar filled. If you go too long without eating, you will begin to lose health. You are also given building tools to improve your chances of survival. Build anything from protective shelters to light sources, make sure to not expect to permanently be in those spaces because it will find you.
