Ensford is a small island town located in the Gulf Island region of British Columbia. It has a population of 1400 residents. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police provide police services to the island under contract, and the British Columbia Ambulance Service is the statutory paramedicine provider. The town maintains its own fire brigade, Ensford Fire-Rescue.
