About Creator Exchange Contracts
Creator Exchange designed these agreements to meet the growing need for fast, simple, and reliable legal tools in the creator economy. From digital artists to indie developers, these templates support fair, transparent transactions.
Our first creator agreement was released in 2024, inspired by the simplicity and utility of the YC SAFE. As creators increasingly commercialize their work, legal infrastructure has struggled to keep up. These templates aim to fix that — making it easy for creators to secure their rights and collaborate without expensive legal teams.
In 2025, we introduced a new set of standardized, modular contracts for creators across the globe. This post-monetization model means ownership and rights are tracked immediately and clearly — not after disputes arise. It's critical for creators to understand how much ownership they're keeping, what they're licensing, and what obligations they’re entering.
